Mixture for mopping floors: 1/2 c Pure Soap; 1 ts lemon grass or fir needle oil; 1 gallon hot water. Blend the ingredients in a bucket. Saturate a mop or sponge with the mixture to clean floors and walls.

Spray cleanser: 1 tb Pure Soap; 2 tb household ammonia; 1 c hot water. Combine ingredients in a spray bottle and leave it until the soap dissolves. Spray the cleanser onto dirty surfaces and wipe the area clean.

Laundry powder: 1 c grated Pure Soap; 1/2 c borax. Combine the ingredients and use 1 1/2 cups per washload. Add 1/4 c vinegar to the fabric softener dispenser to remove soap residue and leave clothes soft and fluffy. The smell of vinegar disappears as the clothes dry.

To clean and sanitize garbage containers: 3 tb chlorine bleach; 1/4 c grated Pure Soap; 4 c hot water. Mix the ingredients. Clean the container with the mixture and keep the surface wet for 10 minutes. Rinse.

To clean walls and floors: 1 c household ammonia; 1/4 c grated Pure Soap; 1/2 c borax; 2 gallons warm water. Mix the ingredients and clean walls and floors. It is not necessary to rinse.

For delicate hand washables: 1/4 c borax; 1/4 c grated Pure Soap. Add the ingredients to a basin of warm water. Soak the washables for 10 minutes. Rinse and blot dry with a towel.

Dish soap: Grate Pure Soap and use it for washing dishes. Instead of grating soap, you can put a bar of soap in a bowl and run hot water over it. When the bowl fills, empty it and fill it again. This makes enough liquid soap for one sink of dishes and makes grating the soap unnecessary.

Soft-scrub cleanser: 1/2 c borax; 1/2 c grated Pure Soap. Mix the ingredients. Sprinkle the mixture onto a wet surface and rub to clean it. Rinse with clear water.

To clean and deodorize toilet bowls: 1/4 c borax; 2 tb grated Pure Soap; 1/4 c chlorine bleach. Add the ingredients to one toilet bowl and swish to mix. Let it stand at least 30 minutes. Overnight is best.

Foot soak for calluses: 1/4 c Pure Soap; 1 tb chlorine bleach; 1 gallon warm water. Combine the ingredietns and soak your feet as long as desired.

Jewelery cleaner: 1 tb Pure Soap; 1/4 c household ammonia; 1/4 c water. Combine the ingredients and let the mixture stand until the soap dissolves. Soak jewelery in the cleaner for 20 mintes. Rinse and wipe dry.

Soap for delicate washables: 1/2 c grated Pure Soap; 1 tb household ammonia; 2 quarts hot water. Combine the ingredients in hot water to dissolve the soap. Add delicate washables when the water is warm.

Soft-scrubbing cleanser: 2 tb baking soda; 1 tb Pure soap; 1 tb water or chlorine bleach (optional to kill mildew) Make a paste of the ingredients and use it to clean bathtubs, tiles, sinks and countertops. Rinse with clear water. This cleanser will not scratch fiberglass.

Sanitizer: 1 tb grated Pure Soap; 2 tb chlorine bleach; 1 gallon warm water Mix the ingredients. Apply the sanitizer to a clean surface. Maintain wet surface contact for at least 2 minutes. It's convenient to apply this mixture from a spray bottle.
